Centacare Services

Centacare began with local people gathering to help others in their community. Today, as part of the Archdiocese of Brisbane, our team supports thousands of people across South East Queensland through a wide range of care and support services.

By supporting the aspirations and needs of people with all kinds of ability and vulnerability, Centacare brings the loving care the Gospel teaches into our communities every day.  We walk alongside people with compassion, respect and dignity, providing support when and where it is needed most.

Our aged care services support people to age well and enjoy life from the comfort of their own home. We provide social and community support, clinical services and practical in-home assistance to help older people maintain their independence and wellbeing.

Our family and relationship services support families, couples and individuals in all stages of relationships and in separation and crisis. Services include counselling, parenting support, family dispute resolution and support for those affected by domestic and family violence.

Across our community and pastoral care services, we provide practical support and spiritual care in times of need. Our chaplaincy, housing and homelessness, and Queensland Community Support Scheme (QCSS) teams work alongside people to help them overcome challenges and build stronger futures.

Centacare is a Catholic agency that supports diversity and celebrates individuality. We provide our services to the entire community, regardless of religion, circumstance, ethnicity, economic situation, age, gender or ability.
